WEEK 2 - Additional materials
This week will cover an overview of the various models we will look at in the remaining weeks of the series. These range from the more teacher or power based autocratic models, in which the assumption is made that students need to be organised and directed by the teacher in order for them to learn the skills of appropriate behaviour, to the more democratic or student centred approaches which assume that students when given support, direction and responsibility will seek to establish positive classroom relationships and behaviour to achieve this goal.

Also covered will be a look a Ray's 'Teaching tips for dummies' which gives a simple, non-technical guide to the essential skills for success as a teacher.
